For Bid is a 1913 WINNER Medal for the United Service Match at the National Matches at Camp Perry Ohio. A DCM award. This one is bronze.
The competitors were from the Regular Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Organized Militia (National Guard). Looking at the Previous Winners shows that the US Marine Corps usually win this event. This is the only time the Organized Militia (National Guard) won this event. IF you have an OCT 1913 Arms and the Man NRA magazine it would mention all matches fired at National Matches and may give more information on this match.
The winning team is awarded the United Service Trophy and the individual members receive a medal. The US Army won in 1913. This medal is inscribed "WINNER UNITED STATES ARMY TEAM"
