RARE 14k Gold WWI U.S. Navy League Medal Membership Badge Bailey Banks & Biddle

For your consideration is this very rare, authentic, early 1900's U.S. Navy League medal / membership badge. It is made and marked by Bailey, Banks & Biddle and grades a solid 9.5 out of 10.We were only able to find a handful of these early/1st generation Navy League medals online, and don't know specifically the dates these were awarded or to whom, but the construction and BB&B makers mark make this pre 1920. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional as shown. It is unmarked, but the maltese cross tests as solid 14k gold. The rope and anchors are unmarked sterling silver. I was not able to safely test the enameled Navy League seal in the center for metal content, but am confident it's 14k gold as well.
