    Title: GREAT! Lot of 7 WWI Liberty Bond Loan War Savings Society Celluloid Pinback Buttons
    Condition:  Good overall condition with normal signs of age and use.  There is age crazing on the plain white Liberty Bond button.
    Measurements: ½” to ¾” in diameter
    Description:  You are bidding on a great collection of seven War bond themed buttons from WWI.  The three that have makers marks in the back are ‘I own a Liberty Bond’ made by Whitehead & Hoag,  ‘War Savings Society’ with Benjamin Franklin’s bust made by American Art Works Coshocton Ohio and ‘Fourth Liberty Loan’ made by JL Lynch Chicago, ILL. Pat. Jan 1917.  The other four are unmarked by a maker and are ‘Milwaukee County War Fund Heap The Hat,’ ‘Third Liberty Loan,’ ‘I Have Bought a Liberty Bond Have You?’ and ‘War Savings Service W.S.S.’  These pieces were obtained from a local South Carolina estate.  Check out my other auctions for more celluloid buttons.
