In 1976 Porsche
revolutionized
the world with the introduction of the all-new, the most radical ever Porsche 930 Turbo, then known as the Turbo Carrera.  Porsche was one of the first
manufacturer
to bring Turbo-charging into a production car and did this to during one of the worst oil crisis’ back in the 1970s.
Porsche commissioned this book by Karl
Ludvigsen
to give to the Turbo Owners as a special ‘thank you’ gift as production was apparently delayed.
Only 1000 copies were printed.  This one is number 491.  This would be a perfect gift for someone with a factory wide-body, the M491 package.
The book, mostly black & white pictures, discusses the development and production of the 930 Turbo
There are many detail pictures of R&D and testing of the car.  Also, it is showing the actual production of the cars during the different stages.
At last,
Ludvigsen
describes a ‘test drive’ with the car and concludes it to be the best car for two people two travel at comfort and speed.

Condition:
There is wear and scratches on the covers of the book and on the case.  First inside white page shows some yellowing from age.
Otherwise, the inside pages are in very good condition.
